Arebeng speaks for itself!!!
These are the words of Azania and Masego. For this article, unfortunately we couldn’t get the “Incredible 4” as in this picture. But these 4 friends are madly in love with the fact that our accommodation has in-house gym which is available for free use to everyone.
One of the most common mental benefits of exercise is stress relief. Working out a sweat can help manage physical and mental stress. It helps the body to deal with existing mental tension. These are the words of Masego Khwinana, a first year student at Boston Media House who is passionate about music and is currently studying Sound Engineering.
When we asked his friend, Azania Magagula, a first year student at TUT main campus who is currently studying electrical engineering if he finds the gym helpful in building his dream career, these were his words; "I play rugby and it requires strength. The fact that we have a gym here is a plus for me since time is a limited resource. It allows me to build both physical and mental strength which plays a key role with my studies and my favorite sport."
Lastly we asked them about their overall experience at Arebeng, these were their response; :Everything here is beautiful, students are friendly, the staff is also very welcoming and super pleasant. The place is clean and most importantly the security is very tight. We love bonding either at the chilla zone or recreational area where we get to mingle with different personalities and learn staff from each other. We also find the computer centre helpful, some of us do not own laptops so it comes in very handy and is warm in winter."
